Our Encounter course is designed to help you develop your faith and focus on establishing the spiritual foundations necessary for a life-long walk with Him.

Encounter consists of 9 powerful sessions geared toward helping believers live victorious lives in Christ.

Overview of Content
Day 1: Friday 7:30pm-930pm
Chapter 1: Why Encounter?
Chapter 2: Victory over relational dysfunctions
Chapter 3: Victory over spiritual error
Chapter 4: Victory over sexual sins

Day 2: Saturday 9am-12:30pm
Chapter 5: Victory over addictions
Chapter 6: Transformation: How God changes people
Chapter 7: The Cross: What God did for me
Chapter 8: Power: What the Holy Spirit
Chapter 9: Identity: What the Holy Spirit gives me

Prayer for healing and breakthrough

Cost
The cost of the course is only $5.00 which covers the cost of the manual.

Details
The Encounter Weekend is offered separately for men and for women. The men’s weekend is on August 27 & 28.
The weekends will be held at GBCK’s office space located at 2045 Lauwiliwili Street, Kapolei (Across from Carrier building). (MAP)

Please note that both sessions are required for completion, and there is no childcare available.

Develop and grow your faith in 2010 with the Essentials Course. This course will build into your life essential truths and practices that will develop your faith. You will grow by focusing on three critical aspects of spiritual growth:

1. Growth of your inner person. This is the process by which God changes us from the inside. You will learn and practice how to align yourself with God’s plan for life transformation.

2. Growth of your relationship to others. You will learn what it means to be part of a spiritual family and how you can gain the blessing and joy of linking to others in community.

3. Growth of your purpose. You will learn that your faith in God is not only about you. You will embark on an exciting journey of understanding that God’s love for you needs to be extended to those who are do not know Jesus.

Added value:
• You work at your own pace. Much of the course is self-directed allowing you to work when it fits your schedule. Further, this will maximize your interaction with the Bible and the Holy Spirit.
• You will have a “growth coach”: Your coach will meet with you at different times to encourage and pray with you, and to answer any questions you may have. These a quick touch-base meetings that shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes.
• You will have access to supplemental online material. Using the convenience of the Internet you will access downloads, video, and other material that will enhance your growth experience.

9:00AM AND 10:30AM

At Grace Bible Church Kapolei we work constantly on providing a compelling and comfortable environment on Sundays where you and your loved ones can meet Jesus.

With this in mind we also place a high value on young families and understand that an 830am time slot maybe difficult to make. The result is that we will be shifting our service times ahead 30 minutes.

We are super excited as we believe that this will help us to introduce more of our friends and family to the love of Jesus.

Crazy Love message series

Join us as we talk about God’s crazy love.

In this series we unpack the parable of the Prodigal Son and explore how God comes to us despite our past failures and current pain. Here’s the outline for the series:

April 4: “Crazy Love”, it’s crazy that God loves us despite our rejection of him.
April 11: “Good Guy”, it’s crazy that our salvation does not depend on how good we are.
April 18: “Big Bucks”, it’s crazy that salvation cost us nothing but cost God everything.
April 25: “Party Time”, it’s crazy that we enjoy God’s grace rather than suffer in his wrath.
